Our collection of cultures consists of natural isolates of lactobacilli and yeasts. Their origin can be traced back to a food analysis laboratory in the 1920s. For decades microorganisms from a wide variety of food sources have been isolated, collected and painstakingly archived. We are continuing this tradition today and are steadily expanding the collection of strains. Our bank of microbial cultures focuses on microorganisms suitable for food and stands out for the high natural diversity of the strains.
