Reduction of Odours
Unpleasant odours arise e.g. in the agricultural sector, in waste water treatment or in chemical production facilities. Often sulphur compounds, biogenic amines or indoles play an important role. In our microbial strain collection we have identified lactic acid bacteria and yeasts that can specifically attack these substances and reduce the odour. Applications include the removal of malodour from animal faeces, in sanitary facilities or cleaning agents.
